Well we much rather hear about you but if you must know...
Indiana Horse Network was launched at the end of 2004 by the owner and designer of HorseLords Multi-Media Company.
Melinda designed the Indiana Horse Network because when she moved back to Indiana, Mel had a hard time locating any horse related services and items.
Not knowing anyone in the area, Mel looked in the yellow pages for a boarding stable but had no luck. The next step was to the internet. You see, Melinda was a user of a wonderful site in illinois called Illinois Horse Online, anything you needed to know or find in the horse world, the fellow users had and shared the info. So Mel went online to find an Indiana site that would be able to help but there wasn't any. (At least none that she could find at the time.)
Indiana Horse Network.com was born!
Indiana Horse Network has horse forums and chat boards where any horsewomen or horsemen can ask their peers questions, tell a funny horse story or share an extremely cute foal photo. Someone will always know the answer to your horse question if you ask. We have a wealth of horse knowledge between all us Hoosiers Equine Lovers and you know horse people... They are more than happy to share it.
Other goals of Indiana Horse Network include providing a network of horse people across Indiana thru a horse link directory. Users can add their equine related websites to the directory or recommend a horse site they found helpful or interesting. Also IHN is switching gears into becoming a Horse Search Engine with providing services such as web hosting, weather centers, daily horse news and much more.
Indiana Horse Network is a volunteer website and is not for profit. We do it so people can find the equine services and answers to questions about caring for their horses.
There is more than corn in Indiana! There are thousands of horse people!
